Free on-site assessment
We walk the property, map every opening water can reach, and note anything that affects the design or the permit path.

Engineered to the opening
Each barrier is measured, cut, and built to the exact span, height, and threat profile of the property.

Permanent hardware installed once
Mounting channels go into the structure on either side of each protected opening, with intermediate posts where the span needs them. The hardware is powder-coated, low-profile, and stays in place year-round.

Deploys in minutes
When a storm is forecast, planks slide into the channels and stack from the ground up, sealing against EPDM gaskets on every surface. About 15 minutes per opening.

Flood Protection Is How We Got Here
Emerald Green started as a contracting company rebuilding property across Southwest Florida, and a large share of that work was repairing buildings that had flooded. After enough rebuilds, the pattern was impossible to ignore. Owners kept paying to restore the same rooms every few years because nothing was stopping water at the door.
So we went looking for something better than what was on the market, installed it, and became one of a small number of Florida contractors doing this work correctly. More than 700 installations later, it is the core of what we do. The contracting side never went anywhere, which is why we can build and protect a property under one contract.
Licensed and Insured
Emerald Green holds Florida general contractor licensing and carries full insurance on every project. We have completed more than 700 flood barrier installations across the state, and every one is documented in a way that supports homeowner and commercial insurance conversations.
We hold two Florida licenses: CGC1538211, Certified General Contractor, and CRC1334485, Certified Residential Contractor. Both are certified rather than registered, which is what lets us work anywhere in the state instead of a single county.
